The Shoe Bottom Leveling Matters
If the bottom of the shoes is not leveled, the anklebones go out of alignment again, thus will fail the anklebone alignment test. After making sure the orthotics are aligning the anklebones by AA test (Anklebone Alignment test), insert the orthotics inside of the shoes and do the AA Test again. If fail the test, then start adding a strip of business card thickness cardboard (1/2″ wide of slightly longer than the length of the orthotics) to the tilted side of the shoe inside. The shoe bottoms can be tilted only to one side, just one side of a heel area, a combination of both, or has a twisted bottom, which can be twisted to the opposite. The whole heel area should be the same height as the front or higher, but never lower than the front, which makes the negative shoes. The negative shoes make the body stand on the heels even with the orthotics, which is not good at all. The body weight should be spread out evenly throughout the bottom of the foot.
